Qualifications requirements include:
o Bidder should have a minimum level of five (5) years experience as a manufacturer or agent for similar type of goods.
o The average of the previous three years annual revenue of the Bidder should reach double the bid price.
o Any bidder should have a local agent for the provision of after sales services and maintenance at time of contract award.
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents

Invitation for Bids (IFB)
for
Supplying IT Equipment (Financial Management System)
[1/ Goods / WB/ ICB/ 2005]
1. The Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Airports Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for Supplying IT Equipment (Financial Management System), No: 1/Goods/WB/ICB/2005.

2. The EHCAAN now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supplying IT equipment (Financial Management System)
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09:00 to 15:00 local time
5. Qualifications requirements include:

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 1000L.E (One Thousand Egyptian Pound) or $170 (One Hundred and Seventy US Dollars). This is in addition to US$ 65 for documents to be sent outside A.R.E. The method of payment will be cash or by certified check. The Bidding Documents will be sent by DHL
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 08/08/2005 at 12:00 pm local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at 08/08/2005 at 13:00 pm local time. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of $10,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
