SUPERVISION SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE SYSTEMS which include:

- Supervision Service during Construction of other Structures on the Sewerage Network Northern coastal area

. This request for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business, print edition No. WB 358-648/05 of February 16, 2005. and online version on January 26, 2005.

2. The Republic of Croatia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Coastal Cities Water Pollution Control Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments for which this Request for Expressions of Interest is issued. These Payments are divided into five separate packages, each of them to carry out consultant services for supervision during construction of water management structures in this region. Each Contract will be subject of the separate bidding procedure. As these packages comprehend different field in water management, separate consultant’s references should be provided for each of the package. Supervision Consultant Services will be performed according to Conctruction Act (Zakon o gradnji, NN 175/03), and according to Croatian Chamber of Architectures and Civil Engineers Act (Zakon o Hrvatskoj komori arhitekata i inženjera u graditeljstvu, NN 47/98). Packages are divided into the Contracts, as follows:

Supervision Service during Construction of Submarine Outlets
Southern coastal area

Consultant Services for each Contract comprise the following:

Contract 1 HV-NCB-Z-C-2
Supervision Service during construction of Submarine Outlet in town Zadar

Submarine Outlet in town Zadar consist of costal part ø 1200 mm, l = 1.171 m, submarine part ø 1200 mm, l = 2.003 m, air-relief ø 500 mm, l = 750 m, pressured connection ø 450 mm, l = 615 m.
Prequalification bidding procedure for performing works on Contract for construction of Submarine Outlet in town Zadar “turn –key” project which includes design (main design) and construct is ongoing. Signing of this Contract is expected in October 2005, and performing of works at the site, under this contract is expected in January 2006. Construction period is estimated on 1,5 year.

Supervision Service during construction of Submarine Outlet of Biograd Riviera

Submarine Outlet of Biograd Riviera consist of costal part ø 630 mm, l = 564 m, submarine part ø 630 mm, l = 3.00 m, air-relief ø 250 mm, l = 583 m.
Prequalification bidding procedure for performing works on Contract for construction of Submarine Outlet of Biograd Riviera “turn –key” project which includes design (main design) and construct is ongoing. Signing of this Contract is expected in October 2005, and performing of works at the site, under this contract is expected in March 2006. Construction period is estimated on 1 year.

Supervision Service during Construction of Sewerage Systems, which comprise the following:

- Supervision Service during construction of Pressured–Gravity Sewerage Mains and Network
- Supervision Service during construction of Pump Stations Civil works and Installation of Hydro-mechanical and Electro Equipment in Pump Stations

Supervision Service during construction of PS "Kumenat" and belonging sewerage subsystem - Biograd Riviera Sewerage System

Construction of PS "Kumenat" (56 kW) and belonging pressured – gravity pipeline (gravity pipeline Ø600mm, l = 2560m; pressured pipeline Ø450mm, l = 770m).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in April 2006. Construction period is estimated on 1 year.

Supervision Service during construction of PS "Jaz" belonging sewerage subsystem- Biograd Riviera Sewerage System

Construction of PS "Jaz" belonging pressured – gravity pipeline (gravity pipeline Ø500mm, l = 3540).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in October 2006. Construction period is estimated on 8 months.

Supervision Service during construction of PS " Filip Jakov" and belonging sewerage subsystem - Biograd Riviera Sewerage System

Construction of PS " Filip Jakov" (70 kW) and belonging pressured – gravity pipeline (gravity pipeline Ø400mm, l = 1610m; pressured pipeline Ø150 i 250mm, l = 955m).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in September 2006. Construction period is estimated on 10 months.

Supervision Service during construction of PS "Turani" and belonging sewerage subsystem - Biograd Riviera Sewerage System

Construction of PS "Turanj" (40 kW) and belonging pressured – gravity pipeline (gravity pipeline Ø400mm, l = 1610m Ø250mm, l = 625m; pressured pipeline Ø250mm, l = 825m).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in April 2006. Construction period is estimated on 11 months.

Supervision Service during construction of PS " Crvena Luka" and belonging sewerage subsystem - Biograd Riviera Sewerage System

Construction of "Crvena Luka" (48 kW) and belonging pressured – gravity pipeline (gravity pipeline Ø800mm, l = 250m i Ø500mm, l = 1890m; pressured pipeline Ø250mm, l = 1120m).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in April 2006. Construction period is estimated on 12 months.

Construction of gravity pipeline in Pakoštan area, network (gravity pipeline Ø250 l= 2.800 m).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in March 2006. Construction period is estimated on 7 months.

Supervision Service during construction of Rogoznica Sewerage System – costal part of the settlement and connection to the island

Construction of pressured – gravity pipeline (Ø300mm, l = 1000m; Ø250mm, l = 1440m; Ø150mm, l = 450m) and 4 PS (3kW each) for costal part of Rogoznica sewerage system and connection pipeline to the island.
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in March 2006. Construction period is estimated on 12 months.

Supervision Service during construction of Rogoznica Sewerage System – part of the settlement at the island

Construction of pressured – gravity pipeline (Ø300mm, l = 2000m; Ø250mm, l = 1280m) and 3 PS (PS 1 - 12 kW, PS 2 - 12 kW and PS 3 - 10 kW) for Rogoznica sewerage system at the island.
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in March 2007. Construction period is estimated on 12 months.

Supervision Service during construction of sanitary sewerage subsystem Rijeka Grobnik: collectors Buzdohanj-Svilno-Orehovica with PS "Hrastenice" and PS" Kosorci – sewerage system of town Rijeka

Construction of sanitary sewerage subsystem Rijeka Grobnik comprises construction of Grobinština sewerage subsystem with connection on existing sewerage system of town Rijeka; i.e. construction of sewerage mains length l=6km and 2 (two) pump stations (PS Hrastenice (N = 6,4 kw) and PS Kosorci (N = 3,4 kw).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in September 2005. Construction period is estimated on 1 year.

PS Lovran, PS Peharevo, PS Vrh Ike, PS Ika, PS Ičići, PS Punta Kolova – sewerage system of town Opatija

Construction of PS Lovran (Q=42 l/s), PS Peharovo (Q=21 l/s), PS Vrh Ike (Q=92 l/s), PS Ika (Q=101 l/s), PS Ičići (Q=119 l/s) and PS Punta Kolova (Q=203 l/s).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in October 2005. Construction period is estimated to last till March 2007.

Supervision Service during construction of pump stations:
PS Črnikovica, PS Volosko, PS Lipovica, PS Slatina, PS Tomaševac, PS Zert, PS Kvarner and PS Admiral- sewerage system of town Opatija

Construction of PS Črnikovica (Q=5 l/s), PS Volosko (Q=15 l/s), PS Lipovica (Q= 60 l/s), PS Slatina (Q=90 l/s), PS Tomaševac (Q=22 l/s), PS Zert (Q=10 l/s), PS Kvarner (Q=5 l/s) and PS Admiral (Q=14 l/s).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in October 2005. Construction period is estimated to last till March 2007.

Construction comprises construction of the following pump stations’ sanitary sewerage subsystems:
- Sewerage subsystem PS Lipovica 1 (pressured pipeline DN 150 mm, length 487,00 m. Pressured pipeline DN 250 mm, length 460,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 1.061,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 400 mm)
- Sewerage subsystem PS Lipovica 2 (Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 2.885,00 m)
- Sewerage subsystem PS Lipovica 3 (Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 3.740,00 m.)
- Sewerage subsystem PS Črnikovica and sewerage subsystem PS Volosko (joint pressured pipeline DN 100 mm, length 25,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 1.814,00 m)
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in October 2005. Construction period is estimated to last till March 2007.

PS Ičići, PS Ika, PS Vrh Ike- sewerage system of town Opatija

Construction comprises construction of the following pump stations’ sanitary sewerage subsystems:
- Sewerage subsystem PS Ičići (Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 1.396,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 500 mm, length 660,00 m.)
- Sewerage subsystem PS Ika (Pressured pipeline DN 250 mm, length 327,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 4.737,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 400 mm, length 485,00 m.) and
- Sewerage subsystem PS Vrh Ike (Gravity pipeline DN 300 mm, length 4.223,00 m. Gravity pipeline DN 500 mm, length 30,00 m.).
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in October 2005. Construction period is estimated to last till March 2007.

Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in January 2006. Construction period is estimated on 1 years.

Construction of pressured and gravity pipeline and belonging PS of Opuzen Sewerage Subsystem.
Signing of this Contract and performing of works at the site is expected in November 2007. Construction period is estimated on 7 months.

3. Hrvatske vode Jadranski projekt d.o.o. now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services under the particular package. The firms are invited to send their letter of interest with documents in Croatian not more than 30 pages, containing the following information:

- description of the firm, staff qualifications and basic financial indices in operation of the firm during the last 5 years;
­- reference list of similar projects carried out in the last 5 years
­- curriculum vitae of leading professionals employed on the project, who are authorized to perform supervision services according to (Zakon o gradnji (NN 175/03).

Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Consultants should send application for each services’ package separately, as five short lists of acceptable consultants will be formed. One for each services’ package.

4. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, first printed January 1997, revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002.

Hrvatske vode Jadranski projekt d.o.o. will carry out the selection of the consultatnts who will be included in the short list and invited to participate in the competition. Supervision Services during construction Submarine Outlets will be selected in accordance with Selection Based on Consultants' Qualification - SBCQ and Selection of Consultants for performing Supervision Services during construction of pressured–gravity pipelines, Pump Stations and other Structures on the Sewerage Network will be selected in accordance with Quality and Cost Based Selection Method - QCBS and Least Cost Selection Method - LCS.

5. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 0900 to 1400 hours’ local time.

6. Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below on or before June 10, 2005.
