A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) or Eighty US Dollars (US$80.00). The method of payment will be by cash or Bank draft. The Bidding document will be collected by hand from the above Project Office or can be forwarded to the Bidders by courier service on request

Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before 10.00am on 12th May, 2005. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 3% of bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency and shall remain valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period of 120 days. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address above by 10.00am on 12th May, 2005

1. This invitation for Bids follows the general procurement notice that appeared inDevelopment Business issue No. 608 of June 16, 2003.

2. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Borno State Health Systems Development Project II and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Procurement of Vehicle, Motorcycles, Bicycles & Generating Sets.

3.The Borno State Health Systems Development Project II now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of underlisted items

Lot 1: 1 unit 4WD Station Wagon
at least 3% of Bid price and 120 days delivery period

Lot 2: 40 units of 100CC Motor Cycles
100 units Bicycles
At least 3% of Bid price and 120 days delivery period

Lot 3: 1 unit Generating Set 42.5 KVA
2 units Generating Set 15 KVA
At least 3%of Bid price and 120 days delivery period

4.Bidders may bid for any one or more lots and discounts offered for the award of combined lots will be considered in bid evaluation.
