SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROJECT

Supply Of Equipment For Landfill Ramici At Banja Luka

This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 632 of 16 June 2004.

The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Solid Waste Management Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit toward payments under the contract for Supply of equipment for landfill Ramici at Banja Luka no: BA-SWM-ICB-051-G-04-3672-BOS/BL. The Public Utility DEP-OT / Project Implementation Team now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply of equipment for landfill Ramici at Banja Luka no:BA-SWM-ICB-051-G-04-3672-BOS/BL.

DESCRIPTION QUANTITY LOCATION

Lot 1: Compactor 1 pc Ramici landfill at Banja Luka
Lot 2: Bulldozer 1 pc Ramici landfill at Banja Luka
Lot 3: Wheel Loader 1 pc Ramici landfill at Banja Luka
Lot 4: Crawler Excavator 1 pc Ramici landfill at Banja Luka
Lot 5: 3-Way Tipper 1 pc Ramici landfill at Banja Luka

Bidders may bid for one or more lots under this invitation. The bids for each lot will be evaluated separately and separate contracts will be awarded.

The delivery period is 10 to 12 weeks.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997 and January 1999), and is open to all eligible bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Public Utility DEP-OT / Project Implementation Team at the address below during office hours from 0800 to 1600. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 300 BAM or 150 EURO. The method of payment will be:

The document will be sent by courier.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of minimum 2% of bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by 11.00 A.M. on 14th Dec 2004. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
