Expressions of interest

The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Grant for Strengthening Expenditure Management for Building Institutional Capacity for Wage Bill and Establishment Control and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include:

(a) Upgrading pay and employment modeling tool, training of staff and transfer of skills in using modeling tool, preparation of Policy Note on design and implementation of pay and employment adjustment strategy. Consultant assignment will be implemented for one month.


The Civil Service Council of Mongolia now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

A individual consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers January 1997, Revised September 1997, January 1999, and May 2002.

Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours : 0900 to 1800 hours.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by November 18, 2004.
