Invitation for tenders
This invitation for tenders follows the general procurement notice for
this project which was updated on the Bank's website in Procurement
Opportunities on 15 May 2002.
This invitation for tenders replaces that previously issued on April 3rd
2002.
INA Industrija Nafte d.d. hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser,
intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of oily waste
treatment in INA Rafinerija nafte Rijeka.
The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from suppliers for the following
contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:
- supply of equipment for Waste Treatment Unit, spare parts, special
tools (if required), technical documentation and services comprising
checking and approval of key drawings, pre-commissioning, commissioning,
start-up, performance testing and personal training.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will
be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open
to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be
used for the purpose of any payment to persons and entities, or for any
import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of
the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the
Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of
the Purchaser's country.
Interested tenderers may obtain a complete set of tendering documents in
the English language by payment of a non-refundable fee to the following
accounts:
a) Domestic tenderers - HRK 1 100,00 to the INA Industrija nafte d.d.
Zagreb, Account No. 2340009-1100022902
b) Foreign tenderers - EUR 150,00 in favour of INA Industrija nafte d.d.
Zagreb by Privredna banka Zagreb, Account No. 70000-978-170334
with remark: "Invitation for Tenders No. SN-9436/01/EBRD5/R-Z04/SB"
Tender documents may be obtained by interested tenderers, on submission
of payment evidence and a written application, at the address below every
working day from 12 to 14 hours (local time).
The Purchaser will, upon the tenderer's request in writing, promptly,
dispatch the requested tender documents to the tenderer by courier, but
under no circumstances will be held responsible for loss or late delivery
of the documents dispatched in that way.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the amount of not
less than 2% out of total tender value.
All tenderers who have purchased the tender documents against the
cancelled invitation for tenders announced in Vjesnik of 3rd April 2002,
are not obliged to repurchase the documents because the same will be,
free of charge, on request, submitted to them.
Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below at or before
18 December 2003 at 12 noon (local time), at which time they will be
opened in the presence of those tenderers' representatives who choose to
attend.
A register of potential tenderers who have purchased the tender documents
may be inspected at the address below.
A site visit will take place at 11.00 local time on 26 November 2003 and
will be followed by a pre-tender meeting on the same day.
