Looking for a electronic rostering system for non-train crew staff, thus
including station staff, fleet and HQ/Office Admin staff.
The System should have the capability to create a base roster, alter the
roster, manage attendance, interface with Payroll and provide management
reports. Other requirements include the ability to update automatically,
be intuitive, configurable and also tried and tested in the transport
industry. The system should enable electronic capture of time and
attendance, have visual display of base roster, alterations and
availability.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope
The system will provide rostering functionality for non-train crew staff,
thus including station staff, fleet and HQ/Office Admin staff. Note that
this system will be for Southern Railway Ltd, however the scope could
expand to include other Train Operating Companies in the Go-Ahead Group.
The System should have the capability to create a base roster, alter the
roster, manage attendance, interface with Payroll and provide management
reports. Other requirements include the ability to update automatically,
be intuitive, configurable and also tried and tested in the transport
industry. The system should enable electronic capture of time and
attendance, have visual display of base roster, alterations and
availability.

Note that Southern Railway Ltd will issue a prequalification questionnaire
(PQQ) to all interested parties following the closing of this notice. For
avoidance of doubt the notice will close on the 19.9.2010. No information
will be issued or available prior to this date.
Southern will issue the PQQ using Smartsource, an electronic tendering
tool. Access details will be issued after the 19.9.2010.
