SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The Trust wishes to purchase and install a short term digital image
archiving system for paediatric echocardiograms for use by the Department
of Congenital Heart Disease in ECH with the potential for expansion into
other departments within both the Trust and other parts of the Kings
Health Partnership. The objective is to establish a system for secure
storage and retrieval of electronic images such that they are available
for clinical analysis, decision making, audit and reporting. The system
must have automatic dataflow from all the required paediatric modalities
into a short-term archive capable of storing data in raw and Dicom formats
for a minimum period of 3 years and then cataloguing and interfacing them
into a long term storage solution.

Article 3 of the Council Act of 26.5.1972 and Article 3(1) of Council

(j) has been the subject of a conviction for fraud within the meaning of
Article 1 of the Convention relating to the protection of the financial
interests of the European Communities;
(k) has been the subject of a conviction for money laundering, as defined
in Article 1 of Council Directive 91/308/EEC of 10.6.1991 on prevention of
the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering.
