Applications are invited from reputed suppliers / Manufacturers / Contractors / Agents / Corporations / Co-operatives / Societies & Individuals who wish to register with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for the under-mentioned Services and Supplies for the year 2011. Since the SLBFEE operates island wide network of its branch offices the regional level suppliers of goods & services are also considered.
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- should be sent for each item (Supply or Service) along with ' the application by way of a Cheque in favour of "Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment". The said fee can also be paid to the Finance Division of the Head Office (The relevant receipt should be produced). A separate application should be forwarded for each item.
The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment calls for quotations from registered suppliers and contractors for its procurement needs in the normal course. However, the Bureau reserves the right to obtain offers and make purchases from other suppliers as well.
The names of suppliers and contractors who repeatedly fail to submit quotations promptly will called for, fail to supply goods on time, when ordered and supply goods which do not confirm with the samples submitted will be removed from the register without any notice.
Applications for Construction work referred in Item Nos. 34 should be furnished along with a photocopy of the registration record of Institute for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) and Applications for any other supplies & services should be furnished along with a photocopy of the Business Registration Certificate (BRC).
Please send all applications along with cash receipts or cheque (money orders are not accepted) for registration in one cover with required particulars under registered post marked "Registration of Suppliers - 2011" on the top left hand corner of the envelope to reach the undersigned not later than 30th of November, 2010. The Chairman, "Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has the right to reject any application.
