Title Architects - New classroom block - Mangere East School, Auckland
Expression of Interest Ministry of Education - (Regional)
General Information Mangere East School has been allocated Ministry of Education funding for a new classroom block to replace the block burned down recently.

The new block is likely to contain 8 classrooms and associated resource rooms and toilets etc.

Experienced architectural companies who have an appropriate track record in similar design work are invited to submit an expression of interest for this project.

The EOI must be restricted to four pages and must include:

• Experience and track record of the company
• Size of the practice and ability to resource the project adequately.
• Names and CV’s of the Director who would oversee the project and the senior project architect who would be responsible for completing the design.
• Examples of a primary school classroom blocks designed by the company and the construction value.
• An example of a primary school site development plan prepared by the company in the past 5 years.

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to select a shortlist of three architectural companies who will then be invited to submit full offers of service.

This project will be run by the School via a Project Manager but is subject to the rules set out in the Ministry of Education Property Management Guidelines. Go to http://www.minedu.govt.nz/goto/property and click on the link ‘state schools’ to view the handbook.
