Registration of Interest Ministry of Education - (Regional)
General Information Registrations of interest are sought from Main Building Contractors only for the proposed new Performing Arts Centre at Palmerton North Girls High School.

The project involves the relocation of three existing buildings, re-clad, re-roof, refurbishment and extensions to bring the facility to both current NZ Building Code and MOE requirements. http://www.minedu.govt.nz/goto/property

The estimated construction work value for the project is $2,700,000.

The current construction programme indicates a start date of November 2010 and completion July 2011

Required Information for ROI:

The following information is required:

Registration of interest will be limited to six pages and shall include the following:
• Details and nature of the construction company.
• List of recent projects undertaken with project value.
• Summary of current work load.
• Experience and track record in work of this nature including references relating to that work.
• Experience in working on school sites, or delivering projects within an operational facility.


Documentation should not exceed 6 – A4 pages.

The above information must be submitted electronically in pdf format to both the Project Manager & the Design Consultant as noted below

The Board reserves the right to seek tenders from other parties in addition to those whom respond to this invitation and reserve the right not to select any contractors if it chooses.

The project will be run via a Project Manager, but is subject to the rules set out in the Ministry of Education Property Management Guidelines.
