Description

The Corporate Administration Agency (CAA) is working on behalf of the State Library of Queensland (SLQ) in this instance.

Suitably qualified offerors are invited to tender for the completion of minor building refurbishment works including standard joinery to specification, by no later than 21 January 2011 (prior to the early February 2011 opening of the space).

As detailed in the “Additional Provisions to Offer” tender document the entire installation period is to be completed when the space is closed for a period of (5 days) 17-21 January 2011 (to minimise interruption to the this public access area, as SLQ is open 364 days per year).

Works will be at the State Library of Queensland, Level 4 - John Oxley Library, Stanley Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101.

Additional to these tendered works, SLQ will also be coordinating tender ‘SLQ 004/2011 Hall of Fame High End Joinery Works’, and additional electrical & lamp works to be completed concurrently in the same location as part of the overall project and offerors’ need to be aware of this.

Note: As both tenders (SLQ 004/2011 and SLQ 005/2011) are being opened to the market concurrently, please ensure you refer to the correct Mandatory Industry Briefing times as they are both being held on the same day and timed consecutively. Offeror’s who wish to attend both, need to register for both.

Specification/Drawings: There is a combined set of specification/drawings for both tenders (SLQ 004/2011 & SLQ 005/2011). Offeror’s need to read the tender documents clearly & refer to the specific drawings relating to that particular component of Works &/or confirm if anything is unclear.

Questions: It is preferred that any questions be emailed to the CAA contact prior to the briefing, so SLQ can prepare a response and address these topics at the briefing.
