This Request for Proposal is for the procurement of ruggedized
handheld computers, a barcode reader and a barcode printer, and
associated products for Correctional Service Canada. Access
points will also be procured and it is expected that
installation be done by the winning Bidder.

An option to procure additional devices as well as associated
products is required for up to twelve (12) months after contract
award date. It is intended to result in the award of a contract
for 1 year, plus 3 additional one-year irrevocable options to
extend the term of the contract.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
