INVITATION TO TENDER

The County of Thorhild No. 7 requires approximately 30,000 tonnes of three quarter (3/4") crushed gravel meeting the 420 ATU specifications for use in the southwest area of the County. The County also requries approximately 3,000 tonnes of one and half inch gravel (1 1/2") at 440 ATU, Loading and scaling charges must be included in the price of the product. The County will do random sampling, and if the specifications are not met the gravel will not be purchased. If the gravel is crushed outside of County boundaries a stockpiling site may be set up (NE 5 60 21 W4M). Please indicate if your company is eligible for a bid bond.

Bid packages will be available for pickup on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the following two (2) locations.

Sealed tenders clearly marked "GRAVEL TENDER" will be accepted until 1:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2010 and are to be mailed, couriered or delivered to one of the above addresses. If submitting tender by mail or by courier, please allow 2-3 extra days to reach us.

Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Bids will be opened on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1:30 pm at the Public Works Shop.
