INVITATION TO BID

The City of Taguig, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers / manufacturers / contractors to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste (Unsuitable
Materials / Garbage) for the whole City of Taguig
from October 1, 2010 to December 31,2010

Implementing Office : Solid Waste Management Office

Approved Budget
for the Contract (ABC) : P114,000,000.00

The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations.

2. Deadline for issuance of Terms of Reference September 7, 12:00pm
3. Deadline for the submission of eligibility requirements September 7, 5:00pm
4. Notification of eligible bidders September 9
5. Pre-bid Conference September 10, 2:00pm
6. Deadline for issuance of Bid Form September 21, 12:00pm
7. Bidding proper, opening of bid envelopes September 21, 2:00pm
8. Bid Evaluation and Post Qualification September 24

The City of Taguig reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
