The purpose of the PTQ is to identify a number of suitably qualified and experienced companies who will be invited to submit a tender. The Highlands & Islands Councils will use the information provided in response to the PTQ to determine which organisations are most suited, in the opinion of the evaluation panel, in terms of technical knowledge and experience and organisational and financial standing to submit a tender. Please refer to section VI.3 - additional information for details of how to obtain the PTQ documents. The selection of those invited to submit a tender will be based upon the information to be submitted in the Highlands & Islands - consultancy services - Term Commission PTQ document. The assessment criteria as set out in the PTQ shall be used to establish the list of companies who will be invited to submit a tender. The 6 highest scoring companies in each lot will be selected to submit a tender. It is anticipated that three Consultants will be appointed for each Lot. The Contract is anticipated to commence on Monday 4.4.2011, with a duration of 48 months. After the appointment of the three Consultants for each Lot, each individual Council from The Highlands & Islands Councils who have a particular project that relates to a Lot and wishes to take that forward will undertake a selection process directly with the relevant consultants for the lot.
