This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this project is 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems and the size standard is $7.0 M. This solicitation is a Request for Quote. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. Mesa Verde National Park has a requirement for water meters. These water meters must be Hersey brand, or comparable equal, with 6-wheel electronic register and radio transmitter (Hot Rod) also by Hersey. If meters are proposed other than Hersey, they must include certified information that they are compatible with Hersey Easy-Reader Electronic reading software. All proposed meters must be read accurately including the meter's serial number and all six digit readings. See Brand Name or Equal Clause reference number below. Water Meters:1 Ea. 6" Hersey, or equal, Horizon with ANSI Class 150 flanges4 Ea. 4" Hersey, or equal, Horizon with ANSI Class 150 flanges6 E. 1"X1" Hersey, or equal, 452IIS with IPS male threads Place of Delivery is Mesa Verde National Park in SW Colorado; quote FOB Destination. Please note that vendors must currently be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
