This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The government intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Rona Buchbinder, a small business which will involves writing or editing technical materials, such as reports of research findings; scientific or technical articles; chapters for publications; news releases; and/or periodicals on scientific, research, or technical subjects. These informational materials may be for internal or external dissemination at the national and international levels, and may include internal reports and publications; clinical research protocols; patient education materials; summaries of research programs, reports of research findings, and news articles. The main objective of this requirement is performing writing and editing tasks for the textbook Principles and Practice of Clinical Research, (3rd Edition). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The proposed award date will be on or before September 30, 2010.
