The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center located in SeaTac, Washington has established an annual requirement for a Parenting Instructor . This requirement has been established to support education programs within the Correctional Facility's Education Department. The anticipated service contract will be a fixed priced, competitive, small business, requirements contract award. This requirement is anticipated to offer a contract award which will consist of one base year of service, with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The required services will be conducted one day a week , for an estimated two hours of service, and will be accomplished to support the Education Department's program goals and objectives. The Agency shall award services to the responsible offer that conforms to each aspect of the solicitation, and which has provided the best value to the government. The solicitation's availability to an interested Offeror is expected to be on or after September 3, 2010, and will be distributed exclusively through the Federal Business Opportunities web site. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be available for the acquisition. This site provides downloading instructions to the Offeror. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties shall be responsible for the monitoring of this site, to insure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Detention Center's anticipated date of receipt for quotations shall be on or near the date of September 17, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All Offeror's that are interested in receiving contracts with the federal government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov). A selected Offeror under this solicitation will be required to complete security clearance prior to a contract award.

A change to the solicitation closing date for RFQP06111000018 has been enacted as of September 14, 2010.   All potential offerors shall have until Wednesday, September 22, 2010 (5:00 PM PST)  to submit an offer to the Federal Detention Center SeaTac, SeaTac, Washington  98198 -- No other changes have been made under this modificaton.
