The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS), Albuquerque, NM intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) to procure intraoperative neurophysiological monitorning services to be performed for the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS.) A firm fixed price non-personal services type contract with estimated quantities will be awarded for a base year starting approximately November 1, 2010 to run through October 31, 2011, plus four (4) Option Years of twelve (12) Months each for a total contract duration not to exceed five (5) years or sixty (60) months, if exercised by the Government. The solicitation, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), Solicitation # VA-258-10-RP-0238, will be issued on or about September 8, 2010 with a closing date of receipt of quotes on or about September 30, 2010. The solicitation and all amendments will be posted on the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE) accessed via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will be distributed. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this avenue (FEDBIZOPPS) for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Hard copies will not be mailed. Interested parties must go to the web site to be entered on the Interested Vendors List and/or to obtain copies of the solicitation and/or amendments. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 621399 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0 million.
