SUPPLY, DELIVERY, AND INSTALLATION OF POWERGENERATORS

1.               This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared inDevelopment Business,Issue No;657 posted on 7 June 2005

2.               The Royal Government of Cambodia (GoC) has received Grant from the International Development Association(IDA) toward the cost of Trade Facilitation and Competitiveness Project, and it intendsto apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Supply, Delivery, and Installation of PowerGenerators:

3.               style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt">The Royal Government of Cambodia represented by the Ministry of Economyand Finance has appointed Charles Kendall & Partners (CKP) as Procurement Agents for selected World Bank funded projects inCambodia (SWBAPC). The CKP acting for and on behalf of the of Ministry of Commerce for Trade Facilitation and Competitiveness Project, now invites seals bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of Power Generators 20KVA and 40kVA for ProvincialOffices of General Department of Custom and Excises.

4.               Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specifiedin theWorld Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, Standard BiddingDocument Procurement of Goods, the World Bank, May 2004, Revised May 2005, September 2006, May 2007, and May 2010 and is open toall bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.

5.               Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from CKP and inspect the Bidding Documents at theaddress in point 11 (a) below from 2 September 2010 to 19 October 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Cambodia StandardTime).

6.               Qualifications requirement is provided in the Section II of these bidding documents. A margin ofpreference shall be applied for Goods offered in the Bid aredomestically manufactured goods

7.               style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt">A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interestedbidders on the submission of a written application to the address below^. and upon payment of a non refundable fee of USD 50.00.  The method of payment will beeither by cash or transfer tothe following account:

For those who request, the bidding document can be sent by courier, if so requested, upon confirmation of payment in abovementioned account of non refundable fee of USD 50.00 and additional courier fee of USD50.00. The Bidders must purchase the bidding document directly from Charles Kendall& Partners (CKP), otherwise the Bid will not beaccepted.
