As part of the WDEP, the Council requires an organisation with the
relevant resources and expertise to take forward its Keyworker activity
which overarches the wider Employability programme. The aim of the
Keyworker service is to provide tailored support to clients to ensure they
are linked in to the most appropriate parts of the WDEP in line with their
individual needs.

The Keyworker service will have an overarching responsibility for all WDEP
service users. Targets for the WDEP as a whole are set out in the contract
documents. The Keyworker service will be expected to contribute to the
achievement of the targets(expected to support approximately 1 000
participants) through its overarching role.
