The 802d Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Airborn Systems North America for the acquisition of MC-6 parachute systems and MC-6 specialized training for canopy repair and maintenance. The statutory authority for use of this action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no formal solicitation is available. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to this requirement within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government.
