Overview : Dear Sir / Madam, You are kindly requested to submit your quotation for the provision of training courses on modern microfinance technologies within the framework of the “Support to Microfinance Development in the Republic of Belarus “ before close of business on 24 September, 2010 18:00 local time. Objectives of the Training:

Provide comprehensive training to teachers from Belarusian University/ies (in banking & economics field) on major microfinance topics; different presentation techniques and interactive training methodologies to train microfinance practitioners; curricula development for microfinance organizations’ staff and training material development.

Scope of work:

The Contractor will deliver the following course in Russian or in English (with sequential translation into Russian) with the issuance of the certificates at the end the course. The course shall be delivered by at least 2 trainers (selected by UNDP Belarus on base of CVs included by the Offeror in tender documentation). The Contractor will provide educational course materials before the course in electronic version. The abovementioned course materials shall be provided in Russian and cover all the topics of the course. If course is delivered in English the costs of the corresponding oral and written translations from/to English to/from Russian shall be included by the Contractor into the general price of the contract. The course will be attended by 15 trainees at Polesski State University (Pinsk, Brestskaya oblast). The scope of requested course is the following:

1. Comprehensive Microfinance Training of Trainers (duration -- 5 days, 8 training hours per day).

The course must give participants the tools to:

get in-depth knowledge of major microfinance topics and practices;

learn how to use appropriate training methodologies and training tools to render microfinance training;

design and teach short training sessions on microfinance topics;

develop curricula for microfinance staff, seminar materials, case studies and methodological tools.
