ThisInvitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, Issue No.731posted on 2nd July 2008. 2. The Royal Government of Cambodia has received joint funding fromtheInternational Development Association toward the cost of the Health Sector Support Program (HSSP1), and it intendsto apply part of the proceeds of these funds to payments under the proposedcontract for the goods shownin the table below: LOT | Items | 1 | Surgical Instruments and Surgical/MedicalKits | 2 | Medical Equipment and Supplies | 3 | Hospital Equipment and Supplies | 4 | Laboratory Equipment and Supplies | Bidders can bid for one or more lots. Bids will be evaluated lot bylot. Bidders must quotefor the entire quantity of each item and at least eighty percent (80%) of the number of items in the lot tobe treated as substantially responsive. Bid evaluation of such bids will be carried out as per the following procedures: The average price of an item quoted by substantially responsivebidders will be added to the bid price of those who did not quote for that item and the equivalent total cost of the bid sodetermined will be used for bid comparison,evaluation, and award. |

TheRoyal Government of Cambodia represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance has appointed Charles Kendall & Partners (CKP)as Procurement Agents for selected World Bank funded projects in Cambodia. The CKP acting for and on behalf of the Ministry of Health (MoH), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders forSupply, Delivery and Installation of Medical Equipments and Supplies. 4.
