1. The Republic of Armenia has received a loan from the Asian DevelopmentBank (ADB) towards the cost of Rural Roads Sector Project. Part of thisloan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Biddingis open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB. 2. 3. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure.The Works are grouped in multiple contracts. Bidder qualifying for onelot or for the sum of requisites of several lots may bid for one lot orcombination of two or more lots. Bidder wishing to offer discounts incase they are awarded more than one lot will be allowed to do soprovided the discounts are included in the Letter of Bid or submittedin writing before the deadline for bid submission. 4. The Bidder, either as a single entity or joint venture, shall meet allthe qualification criteria set forth in the Bidding Documents, such asgeneral construction experience of at least 3 years, relevant minimumAverage Annual Construction Turnover, Specific construction experienceeither as a contractor, management contractor or subcontractor in atleast 1 contract of similar size and nature within the last 3 years,availability of minimum equipment and experienced Key Personnel. Thedetails of the above mentioned requirements are specified in theBidding Documents. A pass-fail method shall be applied in the evaluation of bidder's qualifications. 5. The bidding documents will be available between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on any working day from 25 August 2010 to 4 October 2010.
