REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

Municipal Water andWastewater Project II

CreditNo.4514-AM

 

Procurement of 200 (two hundred) PressureLoggers

ICB No. MWWP II-C2.3 /2-18

 

1.         This Invitation for Bids follows the GeneralProcurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business posted on lain on 27 March  2009.

2.         The Republic of Armenia has received a credit from the InternationalDevelopment Association toward the cost ofMunicipal Water and Wastewater Project II, and itintends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of  200 (two hundred) Pressure Loggersunder ICB No. MWWP II- C2.3 /2-18

 

 

3.         The Armenia Water and Sewerage CJSC (AWSC) now invites sealed bidsfrom eligible and qualified bidders for Procurementof  200 (two hundred) Pressure Loggers.

Bids shall be submitted for all items. Bids for all items must be complete.Incomplete Bids will be rejected. Evaluation of Bids will be done on all items basis. 

 

The delivery period should be: Latest delivery-  180 calendar days from the contract signing

 

4.         Bidding will be conducted through theInternational Competitive Bidding (ICB) a procedure specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (May 2004, Revised October 1, 2006), and is open to all bidders fromEligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5.         Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Armenia Water and Sewerage CJSC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09.00AM to 5.00 PM.

6.         Qualificationsrequirements include:

·         Min 3 years experience in manufacturing and/or insupplying of similar  

            goods;

·         Min 1 successfully implemented similar contract in the last 3 years;

·         The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or creditline: min US$ 120,000.00 or anequivalent amount in a freely convertible currency;

·         The local Supplier should submit a reference on having no debt to the TaxInspectorate of the RA (for a validity periodof 15 days from the date of bid opening).

7.         A complete set ofBidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submissionof a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee US$100.00 or37,000.00  Armenian Drams. The method of payment will be direct deposit toArmenia Water and Sewerage CJSC's specified account numbers:

The Bidding Documents will be sent by courier services or by e-mail or will be handed to the bidder'srepresentatives.

8.           Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 05 October2010, 15:00 (Local time).Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend inperson at the address below at 05 October 2010, 15:00 (Local time).  All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security for8.000,0 USD or an equivalent amount inArmenian Drams.
