THE COUNCIL FOR MEDICAL SCHEMES WAS ESTABLISHED IN TERMS OF THE MEDICAL SCHEMES ACT,
131 OF 1998, TO PROVIDE REGULATORY OVERSIGHT TO THE MEDICAL SCHEME INDUSTRY
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF TRAVEL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide consolidated travel management
services. The scope of these services should include:
• Comprehensive local and international travel arrangements and bookings for both domestic and international
travel on behalf of the CMS consisting of inter alia flights, accommodation, shuttle service and car hire.
• Processing and administration of passports, visas, foreign currency and travel insurance.
• Other travel related needs.
Companies that promote black economic empowerment will be given preference.
Shortlisted bidders will be required to make a representation, at a set date, to the Tender Committee at the offices of the
Council for Medical Schemes.
