The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to procure a contract where prospective offerors are required to lease with the option to purchase four (4) 4x2 Crossover SUVs with navigation system at Joint Base Andrews Washington in accordance with the specifications and attachments that will be identified in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This action will be set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532112 with the business size standard dollar amount of $23.5M. It is anticipated the period of performance will be 30 September 2010 - 29 September 2011. The basis for award will be LPTA. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 12 August 2010, on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the government to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this is solely within the discretion of the Government.
