The Customs Affairs Directorate invites offers/bids for the following public tender:

• International & Local Tenderers who are capable and want to participate in the above tender are kindly requested to contact the Contracts & Tenders Department, Customs Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Hidd, during the normal working hours from 7:15 am to 2:00 pm on 17359869 and Collect the appropriate tender documents after paying the non refundable tender fees specified above.

• Please enclose with the Proposal/Bid an Initial Bond for the amount specified above or 1% of the proposal/bid value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bond’s value shall be less than BD. 100/-. The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Cash or Insurance Policy valid for the duration specified in the tender documents.

• Proposals/bids should be deposited in the tender box provided at the Tendering submission office, Tender Board's Office at Al Moayyed Tower (7th Floor), Seef Area, before 13:30 on the tender closing day, addressed to Ministry of Interior – Customs Affairs Directorate .

• This tender should comply with the provisions of the General Tenders Regulations, no. (36) for year 2002, and it’s executive Regulations No. (37) for year 2002.

• In addition the following conditions have to be considered:
1. Enclose copy of a valid Company/Commercial Registration Certificate, for the current year, and has to be included/matched with the tender subjects.

2. Enclose a certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower issued by the Ministry of Labour. (Local Tenderers Only)

3. Form no. (TB 02) is to be filled completely, mentioning the Total Offer/Bid Value and Unit Price (accordingly).

4. All tender documents (Original / Copy) which have been submitted with the proposals/bids should be stamped with the company’s Stamp, and copies also supplied in electronic format (CD).
