The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit for the provision of Landscape and Horticulture Instruction services to be rendered to inmate students incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Coleman, Florida. This solicitation should result in the offer of a contract award that will consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. Estimated usage quantities for the services of an instructor are 30 sessions of instruction weekly, excluding federal holidays. The solicitation for this requirement will be made available on or about August 5, 2010 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 3, 2010. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611519 and the applicable small business size standard is $7.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
