Shaft seal wear sleeve, gross dimension is 22 inches inside diameter, 25 inches outside diameter, 17 inches tall material to be ASTM A240 UNS S21800, Nitronic 60, hardness RC 16-23. Tolerances per detailed drawings, Machined for eight dowels to assist with alignment and secure fit. Machined with eight threaded hole to allow for insertion of zerk fittings. Government supplied mandrel is available to aid in manufacture of sleeve mandrel is 22.000 inches diameter and 20 inches high, with installed dog device to all for proper fit and use in lathe. Mandrel shall be returned in undamaged condition. Wear sleeve is attached to water turbine shaft to allow packing insertion between head cover/stufing box and rotating shaft.
