Tender Bond Bank Guarantee amounting AED 2,500,000 (only Two Million and Five Hundred Thousand Dirhams)

Department of Municipal Affairs — At Ain Municipality, invites registered contractors in United Arab Emirates, who are licensed and classified by the Municipality under (Special) Category for (Roads Works) to submit their proposals for the project: For contractors working in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, should be classified under (Special) Category for Roads works. However, regarding contractors working in all other emirates and who are registered and licensed in those emirates, and not classified In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, should be qualified in accordance with the applied Terms and Conditions of regulatory rules and submit details of similar types of projects carried out by them providing they have a valid trading license from the Chamber of Commerce.
The tender proposal should be irretrievable and valid for a period of (ISO) one hundred and fifty days. The original Tender bond should be submitted to the secretary of Tender Opening Committee on the submission of the proposal
Contractors who wish to participate should contact the Tenders and Contract Department, First Floor, Room No. 124 of the Al Aln Municipality, Main Building, to obtain a copy of Tender Documents for Non-Refundable Fee of AED 5,000/- Dirhams. However, Cheque are not acceptable even, if it was authorized.
The Tender should be accompanied by the Tender Bond Bank Guarantee amounting AED 2,500,000 (only Two Million and Five Hundred Thousand Dirhams) and should be valid for 150 (one hundred and fifty days) from the date of tender submittal.
Submission should be in Three (3) separate red wax sealed envelopes. First envelope contains; Bank Guarantee (Tender Bond) Second contains; the original copy of the technical offer + two copies. Third envelope contains; the original copy of the financial offer + two copies. The name of the company and the offer (technical or financial) should be clearly written on the envelopes. All the above envelopes should be placed in the tender opening box on the First Floor. This tender shall be governed by the General Condition of Contract of Civil Construction works issued via the Executive Council Decision No. (1) dated 03/01/2007.
