Scope of work Work shall include re-routing of existing 150mm VC sewer pipeline with 200mm VC pipe, as per the attached plan and as per Engineer instruction as following:-
a. Contractor is responsible to carry out any work may found necessary to complete in proper manner and not specified in the attached BOQ.
b. Excavation in any material or any location , including, cutting bit Mac at major road or minor road as necessary, excavation in existing trench, which may need trimming or a new trench ,under or above water table, in soft or hard soil .
c. Bedding, including granular bedding and surround or plain concrete bedding and surround & in exceptional cases sand bedding may be used.
d. The contractor is responsible to do the connection between the existing House connection lines and the new sewer line without claiming any additional cost.
e. Back filling work , in layers , work shall include back filling the existing trench with the use of selected fill , in layers not exceeding 200mm depth , compaction every layer up to or exceeding the maximum dry density of the soil , work also include dispose all surplus material properly and cleaning the site .
f. Reinstatement work, including any kind of surface finishing, including, bitmac, or interlock / bricks flooring or concrete flooring or any sort of tiling work as required.
g. All work shall be undertaken in accordance with Drainage Affairs requirements for sewerage projects as detailed in Qatar Construction Specification ( QCS) and the recent Drainage Affairs supplement thereto
