The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) utilizing Research and Development Contracting (FAR Part 35) intends to make a sole-source award to Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA under the authority of FAR 6.302-3, Industrial Mobilization; engineering, developmental or research capability; or expert services.  GSA/PBS is seeking an educational institution to provide technical and professional services to develop and support Courtsweb, a research database of federal courthouses.  The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.  The NAICS code is 611430.  Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.  This notice is not a request for proposals.  The Government will consider all responses received by 5:00 PM EST, August 11, 2010.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Inquiries will only be accepted by e-mail to the attention of Sharmel R.
