The Public Works Authority in the State of Qatar invites global leaders in consultancy services to submit an Expression of Interest (Eol) for one or more of the following projects. Program Management of Local Roads and Drainage Projects: A five year consultancy to provide fully functioning program management services for the delivery of over 25 billion QAR worth of roadway and drainage construction works throughout the State of Qatar (Contract No. 1). General Engineering Consultancy for Local Roads and Drainage Projects: A five year consultancy service to provide design, preparation of tender and contract documents, construction supervision and other associated services for delivery of roadway and drainage works. Estimated value of construction works is approximately 25 Billion QAR to be distributed over five areas; a consultant will be appointed for each area (Contract No. 2) Please download details of submission & forms for this contract from our site at www.ashghal.gov.qa.
Program Management of Building Projects: A five years consultancy to provide fully functioning program management services for the planning, design, procurement and delivery of over 15 billion QAR worth of building construction projects including ports, municipal facilities, mosques, hospitals, education buildings, stadiums and sports facilities and other institutional building of various scopes and sizes throughout the State of Qatar (Contract No. 3) Please download details of submission & forms for this contract from our site at www.ashghal.gov.qa.
Provision of Network Management Services: A five year Management Contract to provide planning, programming and management of all highway maintenance operations including safety inspection regime, cyclic maintenance, non planned maintenance and minor rehabilitation works. The contractor will be required to procure and manage maintenance contracts, propose highway maintenance programs and budgets for approval by Ashghal. The contractor will be required to manage the introduction of new procedures and systems as well as provide staff training ( Contract 4 ) Please download details of submission & forms for this contract from our site at www.ashghal.gov.qa.
ITS Consultancy and Supervision Services: (Contract 5) A five year ITS consultancy service for the entire State of Qatar. The consultant will be required to develop and deliver, in a phased approach, the following: ITS Master Plan, ITS Architecture. Phase 2: Concept of Operations, Systems Engineering Management Plan, Preliminary design, Detailed design, Tender Documentation, Operational Manuals. Phase 3: Prequalification Packages, Supervision of build activities.
Road Safety Consultancy and Supervision Services : A five years consultancy services to provide the followings: a) to develop and launch a comprehensive and integrated Road Safety Strategy for the State of Qatar; b) to develop a complete work zone traffic management program that will include the development of work zone safety policies, procedures, manuals and carry out safety audits of construction sites throughout the State of Qatar; c) to review existing road safety related standards, and to assess and identify potential safety risks for existing roads through the implementation of road safety audits within the State of Qatar's main roadway network, d) to set up appropriate posted speed limits and to identify speed enforcement radar locations within Qatar's main roadway network; and e) to develop an incident management plan for the State of Qatar (Contract 6).
