DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the supply, installation
and maintenance services for two separate CCTV Systems at UNAMI-HQ Premises in the International
Zone, Baghdad, Iraq.

2. The requirements will include, but not limited to, the followings:
• All necessary equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary to perform
the installation of spotless (covering views of all area of the compound) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
System to UNAMI Premises in the International Zone, Baghdad, Iraq.
• Routine and on call maintenance (inclusively emergency calls) of all equipment upon receiving
notice from UNAMI.
• Training: - one time training of twenty (20) United Nations staff, with minimum of 3 days, 16 hrs
training.

3. UNAMI intends to award a contract for one year, with the option to extend at UNAMI’s discretion
under the same terms and conditions for four (4) additional one year period.

4. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would
issue Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial
relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement

5. Please note on the following:
a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a proposal.
b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and
proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not
automatically warrant for RFP document.
c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOI's received after the above deadline.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION
MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
I. Minimum one proven experience in the field of provision, installation and maintenance of CCTV
systems inside Iraq.
II. Capability to provide the required services and original CCTV parts within the International Zone
(IZ), Baghdad, Iraq.
III. Maintenance and repair services should be under at least one (1) year warranty period from the
date of service provided to UNAMI.
IV. Capability to supply new original spare parts with at least one (1) year warranty period from the date
of receiving and inspecting by UNAMI.
V. Capability to respond to UNAMI service orders in Baghdad within 24 hours.
VI. Duly completed UNAMI, UNPS, and UNGM vendor registration formalities.
VII. Duly completed and signed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and the Vendor Response Form
(attached).
