Rehabilitation of three auction halls at Hodeida Fishing Port - Hodeida Governorate
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. WB 80-670/06 of 21 Dec. 2005.
2. The Republic Of Yemen has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Fisheries Resources Management and Conservation Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract Rehabilitation of 3 auction yards at Hodeida Fishing Port- Hodeida Governorate.
3. The Fisheries Resources Management and Conservation Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Rehabilitation 3 auction yards at Hodeida Fishing Port - Hodeida Governorate.
The main works will carry out as follow:-
Rehabilitation of 3 auction yards, drinking water net work, sewage net work, electric net work and other services.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines edition May 2004 and revised in October 2006: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

6. Qualifications requirements include previous experience. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 100 US$ .

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 5/10/2010. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. The validity of the bids shall be 120 days. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder, s representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 11:00 am on 5/10/2010. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 15, 000 US$ for valid for 150days. (Local bidders must provide valid tax certificate and valid insurance certificate)
