Scope of work The project comprises the construction of new sewers to extend the sewerage network in the various locations in Doha. The Works comprise the following:

AREA 1 – AL JUBAILAT AREA

(a) Construction of approximately 1.3km of 200mm diameter VC sewers in trench. (b) Construction of approximately 42 GRP lined manholes. (c) Construction of approximately 58 house connections including 700m of 150mm VC lateral connections.

AREA 2 – WEST BAY AREA

(a) Construction of approximately 2.6km of 200mm diameter VC sewers in trench. (b) Construction of approximately 1.5km of trunk sewers (jacking pipes) in micro-
tunnel of nominal bore 300mm. (c) Construction of approximately 92 GRP lined manholes, 34 of which will be located in shafts used for micro-tunnel sewer installation. (d) Construction of approximately 94 house connections including 1.1km of 150mm VC lateral connections.

AREA 3 – NDOD AREA

(a) Construction of approximately 758m of approximately 758m of 200mm diameter VC sewers in trench.
(b) Construction of approximately 19 GRP lined manholes. (c) Construction of approximately 28 house connections including 400m of 150mm
VC lateral connections.
The Contractor shall construct, test, and maintain the whole of the Works in this Contract as shown on the drawings and as described in the Specifications and Bill of Quantities.
