The main objective of Bridge Management training is to provide the training participants with understanding of modern sustainable bridgeasset management approaches and procedures, and practical knowledge and skills on bridge condition inspections, maintenanceandrepair needs assessment, and maintenance and repair activities planning, prioritization and design, as well as maintenance andrepair works implementation. The main objective of Maintenance management of city streets training is to provide the training participants with understanding of appropriatemaintenance of city streets as well as how to define and plan formaintenance activities, and ensure city streetmaintenance. The main objective of Flexible Pavement Technology training is to provide introductory training on modern asphalt technology and periodic maintenance of pavements aswell as how to select treatments,how to take into account traffic and climatic considerations, qualityassurance procedures,maintenance. Qualifications required : The training provider shall be a reputable consulting orother suitable type of firm or entity with extensive experience in road maintenance and proven capacity and success in roadmaintenance trainings. The trainers shall have suitable educational background and at least 5 years of experience and good track record inthe relevant field and training. Experience in Azerbaijan and knowledge of Azeri language will be an advantage. Interested firms mustprovide information indicating that they are qualified to performthe services (brochures, description of similarassignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Aconsulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Consultants' Qualifications selection method procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection andEmployment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004, revised October 2006).
