General Information Introduction:

The Canterbury District Health Board (the CDHB), a publicly owned Health and Disability Organisation, invites you to submit a tender for the disposal of a 4.5 MW Anderson Boiler described below. The tender will be subject to the terms and conditions of sale attached to this letter.

Anderson 4.5 MW Coal fired Boiler
Date of Manufacture: 15/5/1962
Serial No: 2311
Rated Steam Capacity: 7200kg/hr

The boiler is one of three currently in service at Christchurch Hospital, and will be decommissioned and removed from the Boilerhouse by CDHB Contractors in September 2010.

The successful tenderer is required to collect the boiler from the site once it has been removed. This date is yet to be specified by the CDHB.
