IPA 2008 National Programme for Albania and IPA 2008 Gerdec Infrastructure
Revitalisation Project for Community assistance in 2008 to Albania.
5. Contracting authority:
The European Union, represented by the European Commission, itself
represented in view of the present tender procedure by the Delegation of
the European Union to Albania, for and on behalf of the Government of
Albania, Tirana, ALBANIA.
6. Contract description:
The purpose of this contract is to supply equipment, as indicated in item
7 of this forecast notice, to support the Ministry of Environment, Forest
and Water of Albania to expand and consolidate an operational integrated
environmental monitoring system (IEMS) within the national monitoring
programme.
7. Indicative number and titles of lots:
There are 4 lots as follows:
— lot No 1: equipment for air monitoring,
— lot No 2: equipment for chemical analysis,
— lot No 3: equipment for soil and E-PRTR monitoring,
— lot No 4: equipment for bio-quality and biodiversity monitoring.
8. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice:
6.9.2010.

10. Legal basis:
Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 17.7.2006 establishing an
Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) — OJ L 210 of 31.7.2006.

of this contract forecast and the publication of the corresponding
procurement notice.
