The Ministry of Transport wished to advise that the firm Roungton International, UK, has been awarded the contract for "Road MAintenance - Institutional Arrangements & Funding" under the World Bank assisted Tansport Sector Consolidation Project.
The consultancy is aimed at designing a long-term sustainable road maintenance program, institutional arrangements, funding mechanism, and supporting development of the private sector.

The following Firms were short-listed:

Roughton International, United Kingdom
Sweroad, Sweden
Finnroad, Finland
Hifab International, Sweden
Aurecon Group, New Zealand
MMM Group, Canada

Evaluation points of the Technical Proposals were:

Hifab International: 90.3
Roughton International: 85.9
MMM Group: 78.0
Finnroad: 76.55
Aurecon Group: 73.4
Sweroad: 67.6

The technical score required to proceed to the fiancial evalution is 75 points. Technical and Financials scores are weighted at 80% and 20% respectively.

The Financial Proposals were:

Hifab International: USD: 363,650.00

Roughton International:
AUD 109,688;
plus GBP 66,972;
plus TOP 107,000 TOTAL USD: 269,715.50

MMM Group: USD: 277,175.00

Finnroad:
€ 120,250;
plus USD 56,700 TOTAL USD: 235,294.74
