Maintenance Contract

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

ALL TECHNICIANS SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIANS WHO ARE COMPLIANT WITH THE ORIGINAL MANFACTURER’S ONGOING TRAINING/QUALITY PROGRAM FOR THE EQUIPMENT LISTED IN THIS CONTRAT.
MUST PROVIDE PROOF AT TIME OF BID SUBMISSION.

MUST ATTEND MANDATORY SITE VISIT.

General Requirements

1. The Contractor shall provide all tools, instrumentations and labor required for the inspections, preventive maintenance and emergency trouble shooting and repairs of equipment referred to in this document. All work is to be done in a careful and workmanlike manner by a qualified technician and as per conditions out lined in this document.

2. Any compressor parts required for maintenance or repairs not listed in this contract, shall be provided by National Research Council or shall be purchased separately outside of the contract from the Contractor

3. Equipment and system performances shall be included, based on original design or subsequent design modifications, as recommended by the manufacturer(s) and agreed to by the Chief Operating Engineer (COE).


Scope of Work

1. The equipment covered in the specification shall include, two Ingersoll-Rand XLE air compressors.

2. Scheduled maintenance requirements are detailed in the sections Inspections and Maintenance. The Contractor shall provide the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance as well as all other maintenance stated hereinafter.

3. The COE shall be responsible for all starting and stopping of equipment.
