Individual service contract forecast

The European Union, represented by the European Commission, itself represented in view of the present tender procedure by the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, on behalf of and for the account of the Government of Albania,Tirana, ALBANIA.
6. Nature of contract:
Fee-based.
7. Contract description:
The contract aims at the strengthening and consolidation of the institutional, legal and administrative capacities of the National Food Authority (NFA) established by the new food law by:
1. establishing within the NFA the capacity to transpose relevant EU legislation in the fields related to food safety and on-the-job training of staff in the enforcement of new legislation;
2. improving the operational capacity of the NFA by including missing tasks and providing the relevant training on scientific opinion, risk assessment, crisis management, communication and reporting.

2 300 000 EUR.
