IDF Grant for Strengthening Public Sector Internal Audit Project
GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
Grant No. TF 093846

The Republic of Armenia has received financing in the amount of US$ 484,000.00 equivalent from the World Bank’s Institutional Development Fund (“IDF”) toward the cost of the IDF Grant for Strengthening Public Sector Internal Audit Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods and consulting services to be procured under this project.
The Grant is to strengthen the institutional framework and build the capacity of the public sector internal audit in Armenia.

The project consists of the following parts: A) Broad scale testing of the new internal audit methodology; B) Development and implementation of the unified information management system for internal audit.

The project will include the following activities:

• Broad scale testing of the new internal audit methodology and development and implementation of the unified information management system for internal audit;
• Procurement of the equipment for piloting;
• Audit of the grant financial statements.

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits published in May 2004 and revised in October, 2006, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers published in May 2004 and revised in October, 2006.

Specific procurement notices for contracts for goods and consulting services will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business and dgMarket as well as in “Hayastani Hanrapetutyun” local newspaper.
