The Municipal Government of Balud, through the Bids and Award Committee (BAC) hereby invites all interested contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid.

Eligibility requirements checklist and bid documents will be issued to interested parties starting march 10-12, 2010 at BAC Secretariat Office, c/o Office of the Mayor, Executive Bldg., Balud Municipal Hall, Balud, Masbate upon payment of non-refundable amount of Php 2,000.00.

Schedule of Activities:
1. Receipt from prospective bidders of letters of intent (LOI) including Application of Eligibility - March 8-9, 2010.
2. Pre Bid Conference - March 15, 2010, 10:00am @ the BAC Secretariat Office
3. Deadline for the submission of Eligibility & Bid Proposals - March 24, 2010 @ the Office of the Mayor
4. Opening of Bids - March 24, 2010, 2:00pm @ the Office of the Mayor

The Bac will issue to the prospective bidders and Eligibility Forms at the MPDC Office upon their submission of LOI and upon their payment of non-refundable amount of Php 1,000.00.

All bids shall be submitted in two(2) properly sealed envelope. The first(1st) envelope shall contain the "Tecnical Proposals" and the second(2nd) envelope shall contain the "Financial Proposals". The name of the bidder shall be written at the upper left corner of the envelope and the name of the project/contract to bid at the center.

All particulars relative to the eligibility, bid bond, performance bond, bid evaluation and award of contract shall be governed by the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184 (Govermeent Procurement Act) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

The Municipal Government of Balud reserves the right to reject any all bids, to waive any minor defects therein and to accept such bid as may considered most advantageous to the Municipal Government.
