The proposed contract will provide Type I through Type VIII Hospital and Clinic Hospital Housekeeping Services at Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox Kentucky, and at various Clinics at Camp Atterbury Indiana. This is an Interim Bridge requirement for approximately 20+ million square feet of Type I through Type VIII hospital housekeeping cleaning services over a period of one (1) year. There will be a six (6) month base period; and two (2) three (3) month Option Periods. The Government intends to order these services from one (1) source under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); FAR 6.302-1(2). When&only one (1), or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other&services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. This procurement is slated for TRECO & HKI Joint Venture, Inc., of San Antonio, TX. Other interested parties or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement; or they may submit unsolicited proposals. HOWEVER, THIS NOTICE IN NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. ANY PROPOSALS received will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. AGAIN, ANY INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.
