Provide part-time Community Psychologist and Psychologist Technician services for the Dept. of Psychology at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI in accordance with the terms and conditions of the performance work statement in solicitation W81K02-10-R-0028. Contract period of performance is a base year (19 Apr 10 - 18 Apr 11) plus four option years through 18 Apr 15. The psychologist shall have an established reputation for culturally appropriate behavioral health service provision in Hawaiis diverse, rural and medically underserved populations. The underserved population includes the Hawaiian Island Chain. The psychologist must be able to travel to and between the Hawaiian Islands. The psychologist shall possess specialized knowledge and experience with cultural and community norms and customs specific to Hawaiis rural and medically underserved areas to service members from those areas. The psychologist must possess specialized experience, knowledge and skills in the areas of military culture and deployment related concerns, cultural competence in working with Hawaiis very diverse ethnic groups.
