This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for Informational Purposes OnlyNASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) on the Solutions forEnterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) website for the following Commercial item/services:Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) Disk DrivesSEWP contract holders should refer to the SEWP website for the RFQ and specific detailsof the requirement. Only inquiries and quotes submitted via SEWP by SEWP contractholders will be considered. A fixed-price order will result from this procurement.This requirement will be funded using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334112 and 1,000 respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFQ is on or about March 15, 2010 with an anticipatedquotation due date of on or about March 18, 2010 by 12noon EST. All responsible sources may submit a quotation via SEWP which shall be considered by theagency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFCBusiness Opportunities page ishttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referencednotes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
